Using cell phones in the classroom is an exciting prospect for me, and I am almost ready to start using them. Currently, I am looking at Wiffiti as one of the primary tools. I ran across this article today: 20 things to do in the classroom with Wiffiti. It has several good ideas.
One of the ideas tha really appealed to me was using Wiffiti as a homework tool . Students could take pictures that represent a theme of the class and send them in to be reviewed the next day. I am betting that if students knew that others were doing the same assignment, they would take time to look on their home computers to see what other students were doing.
If you have used Wiffiti in the classroom, I would appreciate knowing how it went. Drop a comment.
